Christmas Party and Talent Quest on Wednesday 10th December 2008, 6pm - 10pm, church hall at Christ Church Gladesville
Thank you to everyone who attended the Christmas Party! Even though the night was not a fundraiser, guests generously gave over $700 on top of the entry fee.
The Talent Quest had the audience cheering and clapping. Some of the acts included:
-'Superhero' Phil Woodstock dressed as Spiderman, flying around the stage and fighting bad guys to the theme song of Superman.
-Libby Draney singing Phantom of the Opera while a very mysterious, masked Brad Thurgar lurked on stage as the Phantom.
-Monica Aiken, Lucy Bolton and Lisa Austin with lead singer Julie "I don't need a microphone" Walker dressed as the Pink Ladies and performing the hit from Grease "You're the One That I Want".
-Simon Booth showed us his tennis trophies and then demonstrated some very impressive tennis moves.
