About this event

Jesus Club is partnering with Quiz Worx for our Big-Day-In, a day of fun and excitement as we explore why God is Great!


Hear the incredible news of how God  the maker of everything in this world  loves us so much that He sent His only son, Jesus, to rescue us!


The event is open to anyone with an intellectual disability (ages 18 and older) and their carer.

What to expect at this event!

  • An entertaining show with puppetry, music and a story called 'Molly and the Good Shepherd '  a retelling of the parable of the lost sheep from Luke 15  to help us understand God's greatness.
  • Themed activities, including puppet-making, singing and dancing
  • Afternoon tea with snacks and drinks
  • Show bag for every participant with a CEV gospel and Bible comics, including Quiz Worx's, 'Molly and the Good Shepherd'.

How to get there?

St Paul's Anglican Church is located at 421 Old Northern Rd in Castle Hill, in-between Oakhill College and the Anglicare Retirement Village. There is plenty of parking available, including wheelchair-friendly spots.

Who is the organiser?

This event is organized by Jesus Club - an inclusive and welcoming community for people of all abilities to have fun, make friends and learn God's good news from the Bible.

Jesus Club is suitable for anyone with an intellectual disability such as Down Syndrome, Autism, Fragile X Syndrome, Prader-Willi Syndrome, or any intellectual disability. While most members are adults 18 and older, some clubs cater to younger people. We welcome anyone open to learning about Jesus regardless of religion or cultural background.

What about safety?

Jesus Club is committed to providing a safe and welcoming place for everyone in our community. Our club volunteers and paid staff hold current 'Working with Children Check' clearances and up-to-date accreditation for working with children and vulnerable people, such as the Anglican Church's 'Safety Ministry Training' or equivalent.

They are trained in these policies and procedures:

• Identifying and appointing appropriate leaders
• Safe practices to protect vulnerable people
• Recognizing and reporting abuse
• Providing a safe environment.
