This year’s Jesus Club Conference is all about doing Church Together.
Nothing compares to being in the room — connecting with coordinators and
leaders from across the country, learning from expert keynote speakers, and
sharing encouragement with others on the same journey.
Every session is designed to be practical and
ministry-ready — so you’ll leave equipped with skills and resources you can
use straight away to welcome and disciple adults with intellectual disabilities
in your church.
Here’s a taste of what you’ll experience:
1. Start with God’s Heart and Real Stories

Be inspired by God’s heart for inclusion: “God wants everyone to be saved and to fully understand the truth” (1 Tim 2:4 ERV).

what following Jesus means to them.
2. Equip Yourself with Core Ministry Skills

Communication Partner Training — Leanna Fox

how to improve everyday conversations, boost participation, and enhance
well-being through Communication Partner Training (CPT).
3. Tackle Real-Life and Sensitive Issues
Sex by the Book — Rev. Bec Baines

Supporting People with Severe Behaviours — Rachel Emmett
Occupational Therapist Rachel Emmett will speak on how churches can love and
include people with complex needs — from challenging behaviours to supporting
isolated parents and carers, and even engaging local disability services.
4. Make Church More Accessible
Accommodation Options for Adults with Intellectual
Disabilities — Michael & Alison Evans
What happens when Jesus Club members need a home beyond their family? This
panel will explore accommodation options (including Christian housing) and
provide insight to help clubs connect with parents and carers.
5. Celebrate and Look Ahead
Highlights from the Past Year — Josh Reid
National Director Josh Reid will share the incredible ways God has been at work — from launching new clubs to appointing our first Club Mentor.
The Future of Jesus Club — Michael Evans
President Michael Evans will cast vision for what’s next as Jesus Club
continues to grow.
