In the final session of Jesus Club Conference 2025, Michael Evans lifted our eyes to the horizon. After hearing testimonies, training, and stories throughout the day, leaders were ready to ask: Where is God leading Jesus Club next?
Michael shared three future priorities:
1. More Clubs in More Churches
Interest is rising nationwide — Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Tasmania, Singapore, Jersey, even Florida. “Churches are waking up to the need,” Michael said. “And Jesus Club is ready.”
2. Strengthening Club Support
The appointment of Joel Moroney is only the beginning. Michael described a future where:
- more mentors visit clubs
- more training modules equip leaders
- more accessible curriculum helps members grow in faith
Delegates were encouraged. “I’m excited about the upcoming modules,” one wrote.
3. Deepening “Church Together”
Jesus Club is not a side ministry. It is a doorway into whole-church inclusion.
Michael reminded us of what our guest Jesus Club member said earlier that morning: “They are all welcome… God loves them.” That vision — adults with intellectual disabilities fully belonging in worship, community, and friendship — continues to guide every step.
Leaders left the conference hopeful. One said, “Every year the conference inspires me to keep going for another year.”
And now we invite you to join that hope.
Jesus Club’s future is bigger than one organisation — it is about local churches across Australia becoming places where every person can hear the gospel, grow in discipleship, and belong.

Help Build Churches Where Everyone Belongs
Every week, adults with intellectual disabilities are hearing the gospel, making friends, growing in faith, and discovering they truly belong in God's family. Jesus Club exists so everyone can know and follow Jesus - but this ministry is only possible through generous supporters.
Your gift helps us:
- start new Jesus Clubs in more churches
- train volunteer leaders
- create accessible Bible lessons
- support families
- share the love of Jesus with adults who are often overlooked
Your generosity helps more people learn about God's love and find their place in His church.
