The annual Jesus Club Conference for 2026 is just around the corner, and there are some great speakers and presenters this year to help you learn and gain more skills in disability ministry.
The goal of the Jesus Club Conference is to equip and encourage you as you continue to serve in disability ministries. That is why we have put together these key speakers for the conference, so that you may learn more skills, and gain more insight into how you may run a Jesus Club or disability ministry.
Come meet some of the speakers and people who will be giving talks and activities at the Jesus Club Conference.
Dr. Jenn Philips:
Jenn from Christian SRE is one of our keynote speakers.
Before training for ministry, she taught courses in English, Literature, History, and Cultural Studies at universities in Australia and China. Her ministry passion and experience is in SRE, and she currently works for the statewide peak-body Christian SRE. She is also the youth minister at Saints Anglican Church in South Hurstville.
Her talk is going to be all about inclusion in Christian communities and wants to invite you to imagine what greater inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities might look like across churches and communities.

Rev. Bec Baines:
Bec works for Anglican Youthworks as the Accessibility Ministry Advisor for the Sydney Anglican Diocese, where she helps churches enable greater accessibility for those with disability and neurodivergence.
She also serves in a voluntary capacity on the Jesus Club Committee, the 139 Collective Board, and as an NSW Police Chaplain for her local command.
She has a passion when it comes to the gospel being known by all people, particular by those who might find it hard participating in regular church or learning in a way that suits them best.
Bec takes delight in knowing that all people are made in God’s image, and therefore all people have value and purpose.
You can hear more from and about Bec at the 2026 Jesus Club Conference as she is one of our keynote speakers for the day.

Dr. Jenn Philips and Rev. Bec Baines are two of our amazing speakers for the Jesus Club Conference this year.
There are other speakers and presenters that will be there throughout the day. Dr. Archie Poulos from Moore College, Rev. Joel Moroney from Jesus Club, Ian Fletcher from Jesus Club Wild Street, and many more.
Everyone speaking has been chosen to better equip and encourage you as you continue supporting and sharing the gospel to adults with intellectual disabilities.
The Jesus Club Conference is open to anybody, whether you are apart of a Jesus Club already, or just interested in how you could run a disability ministry at your local church and in your community.
If you want to learn more and hear from these speakers, please come to the 2026 Jesus Club Conference on Saturday the 31st of October in Sydney and Online, as we encourage each other in this wonderful ministry that shares God’s word to adults with intellectual disabilities.

Help Build Churches Where Everyone Belongs
Every week, adults with intellectual disabilities are hearing the gospel, making friends, growing in faith, and discovering they truly belong in God's family. Jesus Club exists so everyone can know and follow Jesus - but this ministry is only possible through generous supporters.
Your gift helps us:
- start new Jesus Clubs in more churches
- train volunteer leaders
- create accessible Bible lessons
- support families
- share the love of Jesus with adults who are often overlooked
Your generosity helps more people learn about God's love and find their place in His church.
